Big life changes are often what brings people to therapy. Change is inevitable, but adjusting to that change can be more complicated. Maybe you are weathering a difficult break-up, questioning your judgment and wondering where to go from here. Perhaps you’ve relocated and are wondering when it will stop feeling so hard and start feeling like home. Maybe you’ve added someone new to your life - becoming a parent is a colossal identity and lifestyle shift that can leave you feeling overwhelmed and alone. Or you’ve lost someone dear and are struggling to see life past the despair. So many feelings can arise as you adjust to your new life, and you long for clarity and support.
That’s where I come in. You don’t have to white-knuckle this transition by yourself. Through our work together, you can reflect on your new path in a supportive environment that allows for more intention and grace. We can make sense of why you feel so anxious, overwhelmed, sad, ambivalent, etc. and use that information to guide your next steps forward.
