How much do you charge?
I believe that therapy should be accessible to everyone. I offer a sliding scale fee ranging from $120 up to $200 per session based on gross monthly income and the ability to commit to weekly sessions. Ultimately I would like to find something that feels fair and comfortable to you, and if I'm not able to accommodate then I am happy to provide a thoughtful referral.
Do you accept insurance?
No, I do not bill any insurance directly, but I encourage you to call your insurance company to see if there is a possibility for reimbursement.
What if I need to reschedule?
How many sessions do you recommend for therapy?
The length of our work together will differ for each person. My goal is for therapy to be as brief as possible, however the length can sometimes depend on the problem we are working with and your commitment to the process. Because a positive working relationship between the client and therapist is crucial to long-term success, I initially recommend coming in for at least 4 sessions to explore and define our goals. Most clients continue for 6 months or longer.
How often will we meet?
Generally, we meet for 50 minutes once a week. Therapy is a commitment you make to yourself so the consistency and frequency are important for building a strong foundation.
